Here are some photogrpahs of flowers Carl has shot...

A  potted flower out back...

Carl hasn't traveled with his new camera yet so most of the reference photos displayed on these pages were taken right in his backyard.

Carl played with the focus and exposure settings taking photos of these potted flowers. Here is one of several he took while trying different adjustments.

 Sharlene's birthday flowers...

Here's a close up shot to catch details of the large yellow flower...

Carl's wife, Sharlene, received some beautiful flowers on her birthday. Carl couldn't resist the opportunity to capture some close up detail...

Purple and Yellow...

Carl thought it might be fun to try painting some of these flowers so he thought he'd see if he could photograph the fine line details on the yellow petals.

Carl is using these images as place holders for photos he hopes to take as the year progresses. Once he has the web pages constructed it should be pretty straight forward to update them as he gets new subjects to hold still...

 Tree balls against fall colors

There is a bird in this photo but Carl liked the tree more than the bird, so here it is...

This photo has an interesting collection of colors....

Christmas in California...

This shot was looking out of Carl's back window during the Christmas week.

Camarillo doesn't get much "real weather" as Carl calls it. So when the sun and clouds created some pretty contrasts in Carl's backyard about the same time he got a new camera... well, you know what happened. He shot it!

Click on the images to download the full digital photograph. If you wish to use them in your art project you have Carl's permission but he would like you to let him know you are using them, give him credit for the photo(s), and he would like to have you refer your friends to this website.
