[Frozen Tranquility 2]

March 2, 2005 - See Narrative Below

"Frozen Tranquility", Acrylic Painting
18" X 24" Stretched Canvas

This is a progression of photographs taken at intervals of about 2 hours as this tranquil midwestern winter scene comes together. Carl made a quick trip to Omaha, and then down into Southwestern Iowa (Shenandoah) in January this year. He visited his grandchildren at their rural farmhouse on a very cold afternoon. He snapped a quick photograph outside the kid's back door. He is using that photo as a reference for this project.

This painting is being created on an 18" x 24" stretched canvas.

This project is an original acrylic painting based on a photograph Carl took in rural Southwestern Iowa.
