In December 2002 Carl and his wife, Sharlene, began the month with a trip to see Sharlene's family in Citrus Heights, a community located near Sacramento, Calfiornia. Then they returned home to prepare for 2 weeks of Christmas celebration with their kids, David and Tina, Tina's husband Jeff, and Carl's grandchildren David, Sean, and Allie.

Allie enjoys Barbie dolls and toys. Carl teased her the whole time she was with him, telling her he "needed to get himself one of those Barbie phones." One of Allie's toys was a girl's cellphone.

Carl and Sharlene only get to spend time with their grandkids from Iowa about once every couple of years. They have fun with every minute while the kids are here.

Disneyland 2002

Carl took his Iowa grandkids, son, and his wife, Sharlene, to spend a day at the happiest place on earth.

These are a collection of photos from the day after Christmas 2002 at Disneyland. It was a typical warm winter day at Anaheim but it ended with the Christmas parade and snow, California style.
