Carl spent most of his time this evening painting in the black lines that define the barns while adding the lemon yellow out buildings to the image. The close-up below shows the barns.

The undercoat of brown paint was added below the tractor.

The next painting sessions will require some "John Deere Green" paint mixture as Carl adds the tractor to the scene. It will probably take a couple more sessions to finish this project up because there is a lot of detail that will have to be refined and finished.

This painting is a recreation of an old John Deere image that promoted its Model D Tractor.

This project is a hand-painted acrylic image placed on a wooden cigar box.
