18" X 24" Stretched Canvas, Acrylic Painting

In this second shot of the canvas you can see Carl's scribbles of paint. He is beginning to develop an out of focus green black background while laying a layer of paint over the entire canvas. He said he couldn't resist putting some browns and yellows along what could be a distant water line, but he's kind of playing because all he's trying to do now is get some additional specks of color into the greens and blacks - he will be covering up all but a trace of the browns and yellows seen here during the next painting session.
