After Carl's last art project to create a Christmas gift he decided he needed to paint one more. One of Carl's friends collects John Deere Tractor images and collectibles. Carl is trying to paint an old John Deere image onto a wooden cigar box.

Here you can see the reference image and the sketch Carl placed on the box lid to prepare this painting project. The painting will consist of lettering, a farm scene, and an old Model D John Deere Tractor.

On the previous image you saw what the unfinished box looked like. Carl added a deep black paint to it and then did the rough sketch of the image onto the lid of the box. Over the next few sessions you'll see if Carl can reproduce the second gift painting to complete his sack of presents for this year's gift giving.

This painting is a recreation of an old John Deere image that promoted its Model D Tractor.

This project is a hand-painted acrylic image placed on a wooden cigar box.
