This evening Carl finished the sky, roughed in the barns, and placed the first layer of grass into the painting. He also spent quite a bit of time on the lettering, trying to make it acceptable. Fine lettering doesn't seem to be Carl's cup of tea (he needs to read a book on calligraphy).

This painting is a recreation of an old John Deere image that promoted its Model D Tractor.

This project is a hand-painted acrylic image placed on a wooden cigar box.
