"Benediction", Oil Painting
18" X 24" Stretched Canvas

Carl pulled some white paint across the canvas for each of the sun rays.He also began placing some white paint where the sun will go in this image. Carl started out believing this painting was so simple it would go fast and easy. Of course as we've seen in Carl's earlier paintings where there are clouds Carl spends an incredible amount of time trying to get them on the canvas so they are believable. We'll have to wait and see if this painting is any easier than those  he has done before.

This painting is being created on an 18" x 24" stretched canvas.

This project is an original oil painting based on a photograph Carl took while vacationing in Minnesota in 2005.
