"Pelicans' Kitchen"

In this painting session Carl worked in a line of trees across the lake. There are a variety of colors in the treeline, browns, grays and greens. Carl has decided to leave the vertical trees and window frames white - he'll fill them in future sessions with the darker colors. So far this project has been making much faster progress than the one he did last month.

This project is another original painting inspired by a vacation photograph
taken on Pelican Lake, Orr, MN, while Carl was staying
at the Aspen Resort during the Summer of 2003.
